I'm going to double some of what Engrishman's already said, but I wanted to add a specific comment on my own. Normally, if I think a critique is sufficient, I leave it at that. However, this I wanted to specifically take a minute to heap a little praise on individually.

It's pictures like this that tell me that, with a bit of consistent practice, you're going to get past any small issues you have with proportions in the shoulder or hip joints. The right arm, at third glance, looks spot on, and the angling of the arm is exactly where I expect it to be for that range. The left arm has just a slightly awkward feel in the muscles, but I think part of that is actually how the character has twisted the arm, which would result in that sort of difficult position.

Your work, regardless, does continue to improve with each passing set of months. I was going to ask if you were modeling your style at all from Masamune Shirow's work specifically (particularly, his older, more grainy quality pieces like the early volumes of Appleseed or the first Ghost in the Shell and Orion pieces.). Ignoring the fact that he relied heavily on standard pencil and pen work with manga shading and digitalized colors (where you use watercolors), the quality of how you're putting these characters together reminds me of his style. That is, by the way, a very good thing with me. I'm glad to see artists choosing not to forsake that style entirely, as it gives a very gritty feel to pieces, perfect for certain kinds of work.

(ah, I wasn't noticing your comments. You already indicated you like his work. ^_^, well, carry on then.

Overall, you've gotten a very iconic look in this piece. It captures a very real feel to the character, and does a masterful job of giving the vision of the character in a way that will keep the audience intrigued for several pieces to come.
